UPA-II started with a lot of promises, but seems to be withering fast. Their popularity among the masses is deteriorating rapidly, All Thanks To Poor Policy Making...
Cutting down on inflation was major agenda on the table.
But...
Recently after much deliberation the centre announced fuel price hike ---petrol by Rs. 3.50 a litre, diesel by Rs. 2 a litre, kerosene by Rs. 3 a litre and liquefied petroleum gas-LPG (cooking gas) by Rs. 35 a cylinder.
UPA seems to comprise of all stage comedians.

Was to cut down on deficit of funds and to raise money for "Public Schemes"....!!!!
Effective from Friday midnight, the government has decided to completely deregulate petrol, which will now be linked to international crude prices. However, in the case of diesel, it has gone for partial deregulation and total decontrol will happen in the coming months.
How on earth can they expect to contain inflation with Diesel, LPG & Kerosene price hike....
Whole bunch of politicians are nuts....

well i totally agree with you, but compared to the other national parties congress happens to be the only safe bet. with mayawati vying for the top post we must flock in to keep congress in. A country were the voters(thats would mean poor bastards like us) get to choose between politicains whose only qualifications are jails terms for rape, murder and corruption,congress happens to be the only party atleast the top leadership is controversy free. Manmohan being one of the top financial experts lets hope they mean good by deregulating the oil industry.
